Tiger Airways launches 2-for-1 fares
Tiger Airways announced (13-Feb-09) it is offering 2-for-1 fares on their available fares, starting 18-Wed-09. 2-for-1 fares are available for travel between 01-Apr-09 and 03-Oct-09. The 2-for-1
deal are available in both directions, on the Melbourne routes & Adelaide routes.

Virgin America launches Boston - West Coast service
Virgin America, launched (11-Feb-09) its low-fare service from the West Coast to Boston Logan International Airport. Virgin America will fly three daily roundtrips between Los Angeles International Airport and BOS, and two daily roundtrips between San Francisco International Airportand BOS - with in-flight WiFi service available on every Boston flight.

Southwest Airlines equips aircraft with wi-fi technology
Southwest Airlines, in conjunction with Row 44, has equipped one aircraft with wi-fi technology and is set to equip three additional aircraft by early Mar-09. Southwest is also partnering with Yahoo! to offer an in-flight homepage with destination-relevant content. Southwest will be testing the technology for the next few months. Southwest Airlines is also teaming with Yahoo! to offer an in-flight homepage that includes a one-of-a-kind flight tracker, as well as daily programming of local news and information. The new flight tracker will allow passengers to follow the plane's flight path, and view "fly-over" points of interest along the route, with images from Flickr.


easyJet expands Summer 2009 services
easyJet announced (04-Feb-09) that it is opening an additional 13 new routes across Europe, for Summer 2009 bringing the total number of routes to 416. Five of the new routes will operate from UK airports. Fares for the new routes will start from just GBP29.99 including tax.
